This is a thing. It is a thing which will be occurring on March 28, and ongoing afterward. It is a thing which some people in our lab *cough* *cough* *hackcough* should definitely attend. It may be a thing with which we should actively involve ourselves, given how closely this relates to some of our lab’s core activities.

The question of why we are just now learning of this is perhaps best left to the philosophers.
